Kestanederesi Wind Power Plant (WPP) Project – Alaşehir / Manisa
As Arkas Heavy, we have successfully completed the heavy cargo transportation and crane installation operations carried out within the scope of the Kestanederesi WPP Project. Throughout the project, high safety standards were maintained, and operational efficiency was ensured at the highest level thanks to our strong and modern equipment fleet.
As part of the project, a total of 14 turbines were installed; pad-to-pad crane transportation was carried out 13 times depending on site requirements. Our operations started on April 14, 2025 and the project was successfully completed with the final logistics activities on October 25, 2025.
Throughout this process, the transportation and assembly of the LR1700 main crane, the LTM 1230 mobile auxiliary crane, 8-axle double-expandable trailers, and 8-axle wagon-type trailers, along with various crane equipment, were carried out. All transport and assembly operations were completed in full and in line with the planned schedule for our client Enercon.
